Anchor- Primary

KSBY/NBC San Luis Obispo-Santa Maria-Santa Barbara seeks a primary anchor for our weekday evening and nightside newscasts. The successful candidate will co-anchor the California Central Coast's #1 newscasts.  We're seeking an engaging journalist with a professional and energetic personality that comes through the screen. Excellent reporting, writing and ad-libbing skills are a must.

The successful candidate will be a passionate journalist and newsroom leader, not just a news reader. We’re looking for someone with the confidence to be a mentor and team builder and the skill to generate enterprise stories. You should be Web-savvy and have a proven track record of using blogging and social media to connect with today’s news consumers on their terms. You need to be an excellent writer who understands the different styles of writing for broadcast and Web.
