Summary: The Interactive
Campaign Specialist (ICS) will work closely with the Director of Advertising Operations,
Ad Operations specialists and sales account executives at all of our markets to
assist with account retention, campaign optimization suggestions, campaign
fulfillment and support for key accounts assigned to them. The focus of this
position will be to retain key accounts and manage those accounts from campaign
start to finish using the tools provided and knowledge of optimization and
strategy.

 

Specific
Responsibilities:
The ICS should be capable of success in the following
position responsibilities: 
  • Work closely with key account clients, managing
    campaigns after they are sold and until the end of the run
  • Provide status calls, follow-ups and reports to
    key account holders as needed and recommend changes to campaigns if necessary
  • Become an expert in the OpenX ad platform,
    understanding all aspects of ad delivery, optimization techniques and reports
    within the platform
  • Assist AE with white glove clients on campaign
    optimization ideas, pre-sale
  • Review clients campaigns and make adjustment
    suggestions to ensure delivery
  • Become familiar with all advertisement –related
    third party vendors and use them as a tool for pre-sales suggestions for ad
    delivery
  • Train Ad Ops team on optimization techniques and
    identifying potential problem areas when inserting campaigns
  • Review all campaigns that under-deliver each
    month and work with AE on ways to resolve delivery issue
  • Design new and use existing reporting tools that
    may be able to assist with forecasting geo-targeting
  • Work with Ad Ops team and Director of Ad Ops on
    reviewing active campaigns to ensure they are on target to fulfill

 Position
Requirements:
The ICS should have the following, or comparable, skills,
abilities and experience: 

  • A bachelor’s degree in
    marketing, business or media disciplines
  •  Two years’ experience in interactive sales or
    optimization.
                    
  • Working knowledge of
    large-scale interactive display ad management platforms, such as
    DoubleClick, RealMedia or OpenX. Recent, direct experience with OpenX
    Enterprise is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of rich
    media ad formats, vendor products, and agency reporting/analytics tools.

  • Excellent organization
    skills and attention to detail. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced
    environment with minimal supervision.

  • Excellent verbal, written
    and visual communications skills, and interpersonal communications
    abilities. Ability to adapt and succeed as part of a fast-growing,
    fast-changing team.

  • Relevant working knowledge
    of personal computer software, including Microsoft Office and
    reporting/analytics tools.

  • Willingness to travel
    occasionally for business, no more than 25 percent.
