KATC Communications, an ABC affiliate in Lafayette, LA, is looking for a producer for their #1 rated newscasts.  This person will work with a team, find new material, write the show, stack the show, and assign responsibilities to others on the team.  You must be a creative writer who is also competitive and works with a sense of urgency.   Other responsibilities, such as posting to our social media sites or website will be required at times or any other duties as assigned by the News Director.  College degree preferred, but not required. A contract will be required for employment.
